E-Learning
|
I grew up in the Crookston area, attended
Central High School and continue to live in the area. My
major is E-learning. As a non traditional student at UMC,
I‘ve had only good experiences here. Initially, I
enrolled in one class under the Berland Grant which allowed
me to try out the college experience at no cost. This was
the catalyst to get me started. As with the first impression,
the instructors continue to be helpful and great to work
with. The class sizes are instrumental in allowing students
to get to know their instructors, which adds a personal
quality to the college experience. This is a good place
to lose your “comfort zone.” While I was very
accustomed to my comfort zone, in looking back, I would
compare it to being asleep at the wheel. It’s not
as safe as it feels. This transition started the first week
of class, and I haven’t found it back. This is a good
thing! Lastly, a well known person on campus had this advice
to help with the decision of going back to school, he said
I would be 53 years of age with a degree or without one.
This equation seems to work well no matter what age is used.
Try it; you’ll like it!
