In 1992, I graduated with a degree in Fluid Power from STC Granite Falls. After working in the Fluid Power field for several years, it became evident to me that I would need a four-year degree to advance my career. I researched several colleges and found that the U of M Crookston offered a Manufacturing Management program (BMM) that fit my needs and requirements. This program is the perfect match for working adults and returning students with Fluid Power degrees. The BMM program offers convenient class location in the metro area and acceptance of past Fluid Power classes. The BMM program has been very beneficial in my current job position and I was able to relate the classes to practical everyday work experiences. With the accomplishment of my BMM degree, it will give me many new opportunities and avenues within my company. I started the BMM program January 2002 and will graduate December 2005 and I am very excited. I would highly recommend this program for anyone with a Fluid Power degree who is looking to achieve a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing.
